SAMSUNG

Galaxy A03 Core has 48MP and Dolby Atmos audio

Last week, Samsung unveiled the ultra-economical Galaxy A03 Core smartphone, which offers modest specs and is aimed at undemanding users. The company today announced a more advanced version of the device, called the Galaxy A03. Among the main advantages of the new items are a 48 megapixel main camera, a spacious battery and support for Dolby Atmos.

The Galaxy A03 is based on an eight-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz, whose name has not been released, but there are suggestions that we are talking about a Unisoc chip. The processor works together with 3 or 4 GB of RAM, while the storage capacity can be 32, 64 or 128 GB.

The new front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. The main camera module should be pretty good for a budget smartphone. It combines a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 optics and a 2MP secondary sensor. Other features include support for Dolby Atmos and 5000mAh battery.

The cost of the Samsung Galaxy A03 has yet to be announced, but the smartphone is unlikely to cost more than $150.
