Watch SE receives US$60 discount as part of Black Friday sales

Amazon US and Best Buy have reduced the price of the Apple Watch SE in their Black Friday sales. For context, the Watch SE still starts at US$279 as a 40 mm smartwatch with GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. The cheapest smartwatch in Apple's lineup is available in eight colours, including (PRODUCT)RED.

However, both retailers are selling the entry-level model for US$219, US$60 lower than its retail price. As it stands, Amazon US is only selling the Watch SE at that price in silver with an Abyss Blue sport band. By contrast, Best Buy has the Watch SE for US$219 in the following colour combinations:

Gold / Pink Sand sport band

Silver / White sport band

Space Gray / Anthracite Black Nike sport band

Space Gray / Black sport band

Apple announced the Watch SE alongside the Watch Series 6. The smartwatch has an LTPO OLED display, an optical heart rate sensor, up to 50 metres water resistance, 32 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM. The Watch SE should continue to receive watchOS updates into the middle of the decade, too.
