Android 11 force user to use their device's default camera

Google deprived users of the ability to choose a photo app when taking photos in third-party apps. Write about this Android Police. One developer said the move is aimed at protecting the privacy and security of device owners.
Previously, when starting the camera through third-party applications (such as Facebook, VKontakte and others), users could select the desired photo application. The operating system will now force the owner to use the stock camera application. This policy will be used on Android 11 and all future versions of the operating system.
It is important to note that this is not a complete ban on the use of third party photo applications. The user can still download the desired service and use it separately and then upload the image to the required application in the gallery.
Previously, many developers started testing their own Android 11-based operating system shells. Among them are Samsung (on the Galaxy S20 +), Xiaomi and OnePlus. The full launch of the new operating system is scheduled for September 8.
