SAMSUNG

Brand will increase battery life of several models of its mobile devices

In early 2021, Samsung will introduce its next generation smartphones - devices in the Galaxy S21 family (or Galaxy S30), which will replace current Galaxy S20 devices (photo). Internet sources shared new information about upcoming gadgets.
The next series is expected to include the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra models. All of them will be able to work on the fifth generation mobile networks (5G).
As reported, the new items will receive more powerful batteries than their predecessors. In particular, battery data with the code EB-BG996ABY appeared on the web, which will be part of the Galaxy S21 + device under the code designation SM-G996. The nominal capacity of this power supply is 4660 mAh, and the typical capacity is probably 4800 mAh. For comparison: for the current Galaxy S20 + smartphone, these values are 4370 and 4500 mAh, respectively
Thus, the battery capacity of the Galaxy S21 + will increase by 6-7% compared to the Galaxy S20 +. Probably the batteries of other members of the Galaxy S21 family will receive approximately the same increase.
According to reports, the new smartphones will be equipped with a multi-module camera without a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor designed to collect depth data from the scene. The devices are rumored to include several Samsung Exynos processors from the brand.
