Company launches mixed intelligence glasses at attractive price

Nreal Light mixed reality glasses are now available for pre-order in South Korea, which will be shipped with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone.
From now on, South Koreans can pre-order Nreal Light, renamed U + Real Glass, as part of the LG Uplus mobile phone plan when choosing a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or LG Velvet smartphone. In this case, the cost of Nreal Light will be 349,500 won (95). Consumers will also be able to purchase the glasses separately for 699,000 won (about 86) at the LG Uplus store starting Aug. 21, if they choose to use them with other phones.
Nreal Light can be controlled from a smartphone, which, when connected, becomes a controller with three degrees of freedom, using the Nreal Nebula user interface.



There is no need for 5G networks for the device to work, although Nreal plans to ensure its compatibility with 5G smartphones in South Korea, as well as in other markets. Nreal Light can be used with popular applications like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Google Chrome and WeChat. The glasses maker said there was no need to remake native Android apps for them, as Nreal Nebula technology allows 2D apps to be converted to 3D.
The device uses Android OS is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and features two Full HD monitors. The field of view is 52 degrees, the number of degrees of freedom is 6 (6DoF). The connection is made through the USB-C port. The weight of the novelty is only 88g.
