Nova máscara da LG é recarregável e purifica ar
Ultra-modern mask from the brand is refillable and purifies air

The South Korean giant LG announced on Thursday(08/27), a face mask capable of purifying the air, in addition to being rechargeable. The mask uses the same technology as the company's homemade air purifiers and appears to be an investment in times of the new coronavirus's pandemic - although the company does not cite its effectiveness in preventing a person from becoming infected.
In a statement posted on its official website, LG said the mask was made to replace “inconsistent” masks made by people at home, as well as to avoid using disposable masks, which are sold out in some places.
The company also says that the mask is equipped with UV-LED lights that “kill harmful germs” and is able to send notifications to the LG ThinQ application (available for Android and iPhones) when the filters need to be changed.

According to the company, the technological mask can help the user to breathe better and has fans capable of understanding when he inhales or exhales.
When the mask was announced in July, LG said it would donate 2,000 devices to a university hospital in Seoul, according to the Korea Herald. The purpose of the donation would be to help healthcare professionals wear the same mask for a long period of time, as it helps to breathe better.
The company has not announced when the mask will be released or how much it will cost.
