90% of YouTube videos are useless

Many of those who regularly visit the world's largest video hosting YouTube and subscribe to famous bloggers, probably dream of creating their own successful channel on this Google service. But a very small number of users are able to achieve the dream. According to the latest statistics, only 0.77% of videos posted to YouTube get at least 100,000 views. Most videos (88.4%) do not exceed the limit of up to 1000 views.
According to Pex research, in 2019, YouTube users watched an average of 5 billion videos per day. In addition, 0.77% of the content that surpassed the mark of 100 thousand views represented 82.83% of the audience of the entire video hosting service.

Obviously, 100,000 viewers per video is a lot, and many bloggers would be happy to settle for tens of thousands. But there are only 2.8% of these videos on YouTube. Another 8% of videos earn 1,000 to 10,000 views.
When it comes to video topics, despite the explosive growth in video game content, this is not the best category for success on YouTube. Music is the leader in terms of views of the service - every minute, a video clip is watched an average of 2,944 times. This is approximately 22 times more than views of game content. But they are the last ones that most download on YouTube. This discrepancy between the number of videos and the number of viewers is probably due to the fact that the gaming video niche is overcrowded.
