This new sex toy is called Obii and is manufactured by the Dutch Biird. The vibrator, launched in July, is a clitoral stimulator made of soft silicone. It offers powerful suction, plus pressure waves and vibrations.
In addition, you can choose to use the suction part directly on the clitoris or turn and place the soft, textured bottom anywhere on the vulva for a smoother vibration.
To load the Obii just place it on its lighted platform and surrounded by the transparent dome and, ready, it turned into a beautiful lamp! The console was so successful that it won the Red Dot Design award last year and costs $89.
The light on your platform can pulse or stay on constantly, acting as a charger for the toy and also as a lamp. The idea behind this is to circumvent the strict restrictions of some countries and companies that do not allow sex toys to be sold or advertised.



For example, Facebook explicitly restricts advertising that promotes products that aim to 'increase pleasure' and Twitter restricts 'the promotion of adult sexual content'.
Commenting on Obii, Biird's founders said:
'When we started to develop the brand and our first product, we were impressed with the way that there are still restrictions on sexual expression around us. ‘We’ve been working in the adult toy market for 20 years and we find it unfortunate that companies are still unable to openly show what they’re selling.’
The sex toy industry was valued at $35.7 billion in 2018 and sex toy sales increased during social isolation, so demand for these products is obviously increasing.
