Apple starts promoting Fortnite's main competitor

Apple removed the Epic Games developer account from the App Store, along with games from the studio. It is not worth waiting for Fortnite and other Epic projects to return to Apple anytime soon. On the same day, Apple began actively promoting the PUBG Mobile game, which is one of Fortnite's main competitors.
For example, an advertising post dedicated to PUBG appeared on the App Store's Twitter account. Perhaps it is just a coincidence and the publication of the announcement is related to a major update of PUBG, which will be released on September 8, but with such messages Apple is more likely to be trolling Epic, whose games are no longer available on the App Store. It is also important to highlight the timeliness of promotional messages that tell users that there is a Fortnite replacement available on the Apple platform.
It is worth remembering that the conflict between Apple and Epic Games started in the middle of the month, when the developers released the Fortnite update, which brought a new payment mechanism to the game. It allows users to make in-game purchases without paying Apple a 30% service fee. This violates the rules of the platform, which is why Apple removed Fortnite from the App Store in response to Epic Games action

The process in this case is still ongoing and, obviously, the studio's projects will not appear on the App Store until their completion. Apple says the only option for restoring Fortnite and other Epic products in the store is to remove the payment mechanism from the game's developers.
