Company develops anti-COVID-19 smartphone cases

Samsung Electronics, according to the LetsGoDigital feature, has submitted an application for registration of the antimicrobial coating trademark (antimicrobial coating). The South Korean giant is expected to soon release new accessories for mobile devices, coated with a special antibacterial layer.
It is mainly about creating covers, cases and covers for smartphones and tablets. These devices, due to the peculiarities of use, can be true seedlings of microbes.
Note that the antibacterial coating is capable of destroying 90% of the microbes in 10 minutes and 99.9% in two hours. In addition, the coating is capable of withstanding a new coronavirus infection, which continues to spread throughout the world.
Samsung registers a new brand in several countries at the same time - Great Britain, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. This means that new accessories are planned for launch in the European market.
We add that the other day Samsung launched a case for wireless charging of ITFIT UV Steriliser devices, equipped with a disinfection function. This system uses ultraviolet radiation: it is said that up to 99% of bacteria are destroyed within 10 minutes of exposure.
