The spectacular $60,000 4K MicroLED 163 inches TV from the brand
While Xiaomi continues to draw consumer attention with its 98-inch Redmi Smart TV Max, South Korean manufacturer LG is expected to launch its largest TV for the business segment. The new LG LSAB009 has a diagonal of 163 inches, supports 4K resolution with a pixel pitch of 0.9 mm and has a typical brightness of 600 cd / m2.
The giant TV is built using MicroLED technology and is LG's first proprietary modular solution. In fact, it is a single panel combined into a single unit with a resolution of 640 × 360 pixels. A similar solution was previously presented by Samsung in its product called The Wall, as well as by Konka.
Among the known characteristics, we can highlight the maximum brightness indicator, which is 1200 cd / m2, the maximum and maximum contrast values at the levels of 50,000: 1 and 100,000: 1, respectively, the ability to reproduce deep blacks, as well as the screen surface with a low level of reflection
The model has already appeared on the company's website, although the manufacturer has not yet announced the price. For comparison, Samsung values each module on The Wall TV at $ 22,000. If you want and have a budget, you can mount an entire wall of these modules with a total diagonal of up to 583 inches. Konka offers a 118-inch 4K TV for $ 40,000, and an 8,000-inch, 236-inch MicroLED monitor costs $ 25 million.
The launch of the LG LSAB009 163-inch TV is scheduled for August 17.
