Twitter can now post voice tweets

The social network Twitter said that as of today it is testing a new function to record and send voice messages. The maximum duration of each audio response is 140 seconds. Currently, creating voice tweets is only available to a limited group of users of the Twitter mobile app for iOS, but in the coming weeks everyone else will have that opportunity.
To send a voice message, simply click on the new icon with wavelengths in the message window of the Twitter application. The user will see a profile picture with a record button at the bottom, clicking at the beginning of recording audio messages.
Each voice tweet supports up to 140 seconds of audio. As soon as the deadline for a tweet is reached, the recording of a new one starts automatically. Users of the microblogging service will see the appearance of a voice message along with other tweets. On iOS, playback starts in a new window, with a timeline attached to the bottom of the screen.

«When using text, a lot can not be said or not interpreted, so we hope that voice tweets reflect more human experience for its creators and listeners. Be it a story about a user about a meeting with wild geese or a journalist sharing the latest news or a personal account with a protest, we hope that voice tweets will give you the opportunity to share your thoughts quickly and easily. We look forward to seeing how people will use this opportunity to make their voices heard ... ”- he said on Twitter.
