Asian company launches mass production of sub-screen selfie cameras for smartphones

Chinese manufacturer of Visionox, which specializes in the production of OLED displays, announced the launch of the world's first mass production of front-camera sub-screen camera modules for smartphones. Many expected this technology only until the end of this or early next year.
The AndroidAuthority feature, citing a Chinese source ITHome, reports that, in addition to the camera module itself, Visionox has also introduced new technologies and algorithms that can improve the quality of photography. They minimize the diffraction, brightness and blur of photographs when shooting on the screen, making images more vivid and clear. The company offers its best practices to partners interested in its new technologies.
In January of this year, Xiaomi vice president Lu Weibing said that mass production of front-screen secondary cameras is not yet possible, as the technology requires some refinement. In particular, he noted that device screens with a pixel density of 400 dpi significantly reduce the amount of light that a selfie camera can capture. He added that solving the problem by moving to a lower resolution also poses its own difficulties.
It seems that Visionox has managed to solve these problems in some way. Or perhaps the company has simply decided to ignore them and be the first on the market to start mass production of secondary screen cameras. According to Visionox, the first devices with these selfie cameras will appear on the market "soon". Whose device is not reported.
