APPLE

Mass production of new iPhone will begin in the third quarter

The apple this year is announcing the next generation of iPhone smartphones in October, not traditionally in September. At least, DigiTimes reports this, citing industry sources. Note that they talk about the possibility of postponing the September event for a long time.
We are talking about the devices of the iPhone 12 family. The series is expected to include four models-iPhone 12 with 5.4-inch screen, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro with 6.1-inch panel and iPhone 12 Pro Max with 6.7-inch screen.
All new items will be able to work on fifth generation (5G) mobile networks. The basis will be the A14 Bionic processor. Smartphones will receive a screen based on organic LEDs (OLED).
Now it is reported that Apple will organize mass production of 6,1-inch iPhone 12 models in the third quarter. Most likely, the release will begin in August. Thus, by the date of the official announcement in October, the "Apple" empire will be able to create the necessary stocks of new items. And if Apple still planned to start selling in September, it would have to start mass production earlier.
According to Gartner's estimates, in the first quarter of this year, 299.1 million smartphones were sold worldwide. Apple is in third place among the largest suppliers, after Samsung and Huawei: the share of the Apple Corporation was 13.7%.
