Brand launches mask made with recyclable and that allows easy breathing

To help in the vital demand for masks, gloves and other sanitary equipment, every self-respecting company must, in this moment of facing the pandemic of the new coronavirus, do its part – and that is what has been doing Adidas. After using its factories to produce Face Shields for health professionals, the German sports equipment giant recently announced the launch of a reusable mask, made from high-performance recycled material. Designed to be comfortable and to facilitate the breathing of those who wear it, the face Cover from Adidas uses a fabric entitled "Primegreen", made without any virgin plastic in its composition. Its flexible straps help maintain the comfort and ventilation of the mask, which brings printed, in addition to the iconic Adidas logo, the ease of its reuse “ " wash. Dry. Reuse” " says the print.

The release of the mask aims at the slow and gradual process of reopening that the countries of Asia and Europe are beginning to enter – which, unlike Brazil, have gone through a strict quarantine and managed to flatten their contagion curves.

“Although it has no medical evaluation, the Face Cover is designed to help prevent the transmission of viruses and germs, to help protect people around us,” says the Adidas mask release release. The Face Cover is already on sale in package with three units in the markets of North America, Europe and China for 16 dollars. For each package sold, Adidas will donate $ 2 to the children's global Coronavirus Respond Fund, an international fund that supports the fight against the pandemic.
