Company introduces Predator XB3 monitors with a resolution of up to 4K and a frequency of up to 240 Hz

The Acer gaming monitor range has expanded with the new Predator XB3 models: the 31.5 inch XB323QK NV, the 27 inch Predator XB273U and the Predator XB273U GX, as well as the 24.5 Predator XB253Q GZ inches.
All monitors in the series support Acer AdaptiveLight (automatically adapts the screen's backlight to ambient light), as well as RGB LightSense. The latter provides various lighting effects, adjustable in color, speed, duration and brightness, and also responds to gameplay, music or video. All monitors also support the DisplayHDR 400.
The 31.5-inch XB323QK NV uses an IPS-type matrix (IPS type) with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD). The novelty offers a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The company says nothing about the response of the XB323QK NV, but it is likely to be 4 ms. Screen brightness - 400 cd / m2.
The manufacturer does not indicate the type of matrix, but it is more likely to be an Innolux M315DCA-K7B AAS. It has a static contrast ratio of 1000: 1, support for 10-bit color depth (8 bits + FRC) and the manufacturer's declared viewing angles of 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. Supported technologies include Adaptive Sync and AMD FreeSync. It also indicates compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies.
The equipment also includes: two 4 W speakers, DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0, one USB-C, four USB 3.0 and a 3.5 mm audio connector. The new items will be available for sale in Europe in August this year, and the monitor will be sold at US retailers in September. The manufacturer does not inform prices.



The resolution of the 27-inch IPS screen of the Predator XB273U GS model is 2560 × 1440 pixels. Its brightness, like the previous model, is 400 cd / m2. The dynamic contrast ratio is 100,000,000: 1. The response time of the display is 1 ms, but if desired, an overclock can be made to 0.5 ms. The refresh rate is 165 Hz. The monitor supports 8-bit color with 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color range. The Predator XB273U GX model is characterized by a refresh rate of the screen, which here is 240 Hz. In addition, the manufacturer does not indicate the response time for the GX version.
The equipment of the two new products also includes: two built-in speakers of 2 W each, two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.2a, two USB 3.0 (type A) and two USB type A to connect LED strips. For the western market, the manufacturer estimated the Predator XB273U GS model at $ 500.



The resolution of the 24.5-inch IPS screen of the Predator XB253Q GZ model is 1920 × 1080 pixels. The refresh rate of the monitor is 240 Hz and the response time is 1 ms. As in previous models, the dynamic contrast and brightness of the screen are 100,000,000: 1 and 400 cd / m2, respectively. The coverage of the sRGB color space is 99%.
The monitor has two speakers with power of 2 W each, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.2, two USB-A 3.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The manufacturer does not indicate the price of the Predator XB253Q GZ monitor, but promises to launch the product in August and September in the US and China.
