NOKIA
The model 1.3 is released to the US market
Nokia's ultra-budget 1.3 is a phone with a 5.71-inch HD+ display. Despite this, it runs an up-to-date ROM thanks to Android Go, as well as Google's Camera Go. It is now available on the American market for US$99.
Nokia has announced that the 1.3 is now available to US customers. This phone has an extremely budget nature, which extends to 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and the Qualcomm 215 SoC. Despite this, it runs Android 10 and may even get access to Android 11. In addition, Google currently commits to monthly security updates over the next 3 years for this bargain model.
The 1.3 also runs Camera Go, a light app that unifies the UX across devices and offers access to cloud storage - which, given this phone's low internal storage, may be welcome indeed. The app will have a single 8MP main sensor to work with here. Nokia also claims the 1.3 is equipped with "AI image fusion technology" for low-light shots.
Besides these software-based aspects, this phone also has the brand's "Nordic Design", which involves an "elegant 3D nano-patterned" rear panel. The Nokia 1.3 is now being sold on Amazon and B&H, priced at US$99 in its Cyan and Charcoal colorways.
