After having posts marked as dubious by Twitter, Trump says he will 'Close' social media

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, stated on Wednesday (27) that social media platforms "completely silence conservative voices" and that he will regulate or close them. The statement comes a day after Twitter has indicated that its users “check the facts " in two posts published by the US President.

Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can't let a more sophisticated version of that....@realDonaldTrump-May 27, 2020

On Tuesday (26), Twitter marked for the first time with the alert for its users to check publications of the American president. The messages referred to the vote in the presidential elections in November this year. Trump suggests that there is fraud in sending ballots to voters by the post office.
The American president wrote that " mailboxes will be stolen, banknotes will be falsified and even printed illegally and signed fraudulently."
A Twitter spokesman, quoted by the New York Times, said the tags on Tuesday's two posts were included because the tweets " contain potentially misleading information about voting processes, and were labeled to provide additional context."
Moments later, Trump used Twitter to accuse the social network itself of " interfering in the 2020 presidential election." The US president even called the country's media outlets " fake news."
"Twitter is completely stifling free speech, and I, as president, will not allow that to happen!"he tweeted.
