V17 live shots reveal diamond-shaped quad camera setup

A recent report had revealed that Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo V17 smartphone by the end of this month in India. It is speculated that the company may gradually discontinue the Vivo V17 Pro that has reportedly encountered lackluster sales. A new report on Russian publication Hi-tech Mail has live shots of the upcoming Vivo V17 smartphone.
The front image of the Vivo V17 reveals that it features a display with teardrop notch. The right edge of the phone has a volume rocker and a power key. The bottom side of the phone seems to be decked with a microphone, a USB-C and an external speaker. The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
The iridescent back panel of the Vivo V17 has a diamond-shaped camera module like the upcoming Vivo S5 phone that will be debuting in China on Nov. 11. However, the placement of the camera sensors on the Vivo V17 is slightly different from that of Vivo S5. The rear shell of the Vivo V17 seems to be made out of glass.

The publication has revealed that the Vivo V17 has a 48-megapixel primary camera on its back. There is no confirmation on the processor that powers the device. It seems to be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. The device is expected to come with a 4,500mAh battery.
The Vivo V17 could be heading soon to markets like Russia and India. It is speculated that the Vivo V17 may get in the last week of this month and it will be made available for purchase by the first week of December in India. It is likely to be priced around Rs. 25,000 (~$352).
Could it be the Vivo V1945A/T phone that was recently certified by China’s TENAA agency yesterday. The handset has a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution support and in-screen fingerprint reader. It has a 4,390mAh minimum capacity battery that supports up to 18W fast charging. The typical capacity of the battery is 4,500mAh.

The V1945A/T smartphone has a front camera of 32-megapixel and a rear-mounted 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system. The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The 2.0GHz octa-core processor powers the 6 GB and 8 GB RAM editions of the phone. It may arrive in China in 128 GB and 256 GB storage models. TENAA is yet to reveal the image of the Vivo V1945A/T phone.
