Spotify also wants to display song lyrics in real time

People like to see the lyrics of the songs while they are being performed, accompanying every word in real time, and for some time users of Spotify have asked for a feature like this. Although the service is integrated with utilities that do something similar, such as Behind the Lyrics and Storyline, it is still not the same as a native feature of the platform. Now, with the arrival of this feature on Apple Music on iOS 13, Spotify has been working to release this option soon and thus not fall behind.
Several users from Canada, Mexico and Indonesia have been reporting this news on Twitter and, apparently, for the time being it is available in a testing phase only in these countries. The tool has supoO Spotify even had support for song lyrics in the past, but eventually removed the tool.

A spokesperson for Spotify confirmed the ratings. "We can confirm that we are testing this feature in a small number of markets. At Spotify, we are always testing new products and experiences, but we have no more news to share at the moment," he said, without detailing a possible official release.
