The Xbox One gains a beta for Google Assistant integration

Xbox consoles are steadily upgrading in order to use the more popular virtual assistant platforms. The latest of these is Google Assistant. Those who wish to connect the two can join a forum group for a new public beta update and follow the instructions found thereon.
Microsoft's consoles are becoming more and more compatible with voice-control, thanks to the ability to integrate with various AI-powered assistants. This series obviously started off with Cortana; however, it subsequently moved on to Amazon's Alexa, with which more users may have been happy.
Now, a new Xbox One public beta can enable those who want to integrate Google Assistant into this device. It should enable these users to tell their Xboxes to carry out tasks such as loading games, calling up apps or pausing content (prefaced by the appropriate activation phrase, of course).
To join this beta, a prospective tester should first ensure they are signed in to the Google account through which they wish to use the Assistant. They should then join this Google forum group, then sign into their Xbox. It is simply a matter of following the rest of the instructions on the group page thereafter.
