CASIO

Casio's new Wear OS smartwatch is also its first to have a heart-rate monitor

The PRO TREK Smart WSD-F21HR is a new Casio watch with a heart-rate monitor, as well as a range of other sensors for outdoor functions and general location management. It has a 1.32-inch dual display to save battery, a microphone and Wear OS.
Casio has released the PRO TREK Smart WSD-F21HR, its latest Wear OS device. It has a 1.32-inch color TFT LCD and monochrome LCD dual display and runs Wear OS. It does so in order to carry out tasks such as map display while walking or hiking. It is also the first smartwatch from this OEM to feature a heart-rate monitor. It is an optical module that monitors a user's pulse at their wrist.
This new Casio watch also has a host of environmental sensors to help the user orient themsleves in their surroundings. They include a barometer, compass, accelerometer and gyrometer. It is also compatible with GLONASS and MICHIBI for its GPS.
This device may have a full touchscreen face (coated in something its maker calls an "anti-fouling" coating), but still exhibits the characteristic moulding of its brand around its edges. The Smart WSD-F21HR will be available from Casiousa.com, and also some select retailers such as Macy's and Amazon.com. It has a recommended price of US$499, has black or red color options and is available from now.
