DEED

Get is a smart bracelet lets you use your index finger as a phone

Now here at Gizmochina, we hear about a lot of bizarre devices and gadgets. Between the many Xiaomi crowdfunders and the plethora of niche items, it's almost hard to avoid all of them, but today's gadget takes the cake when it comes to uniqueness. Say hello to Get, a smart bracelet lets you use your index finger as a phone.
Get straight from Italian company Deed and their co-founder Emiliano Parini. The Get bracelet, which costs £ 200 ($ 250) connects to your smartphone and translates the sound from your device into vibrations, driven into the fingers. Users just have to stick a finger in their ear to speak on the phone, and make outgoing calls by using the bracelet's voice recognition technology.
The tech involved here is what truly makes the Get so interesting. Interaction with Get through voice and movement means in tapping, scrolling and buttons at all, 'Mr Parini said. 'The vibrations travel from your wrist all the way to your finger through, so you are able to hear sound without any need for a speaker.' it.
On top of this, Get also supports most of the usual healthband features. This means there's your typical fitness tracker features, as well as the ability to make NFC payments through the band. It also allows you to use a voice assistant through it, which could be nifty. Really, outside of the finger phone calls, it's a relatively regular smart bracelet.

Because the device uses vibration only, instead of sound, conversations can't be overheard by people nearby. Get has no buttons, and no screen, but uses your voice and gestures to control its features, according to its Italian inventors. We absolutely no qualms with the design of the device, it looks really cool.
If youre interested in supporting the project, Deed is raising production funds on Kickstarter. Pledges begin at € 115 ($ 128) for one Get in a choice of sizes and colors, plus the wireless charge base, with shipping starting at € 25 ($ 28). Parini and his team estimate that delivery will start in March 2020.
