Huawei will have limitations to negotiate with the US
The US president announced earlier this week that US companies will be able to resell their products to Huawei in an announcement after a meeting between Donald Trump and Chinese head of state Xi Jinping during the G20 meeting in the city of Osaka, Japan. But ... it seems like things will never be the same again.
President of the American Economic Committee said that Trump's new decision needs to go through some lawsuits before it comes into force.
The decision displeased many Yankees, including Republican MEPs who voiced concern over national security - the Chinese giant, which has a large presence in the network structure of Internet connections in the Land of Uncle Sam, is accused of espionage with its devices . Some people have come to classify it as "catastrophic error".
To mitigate criticism, the president of the American Economic Committee, Larry Kudlow, explained the ban in more detail in a TV interview. He said the Ministry of Commerce will give more details about the new agreement as it is about to take effect - but did not say an exact date for it and not when it starts to count.
Kudlow emphasized that Huawei could only buy "American chip products that are also sold on a large scale in other countries." He also countered criticism by saying that national security remains a priority and that everything is going through some processes before the conclusion of the matter.
That is, the ban is over, but it should not be like that for everything that Huawei used to negotiate before the recent ban. As this will affect the 5G market, mobile phones and the development of a proper operating system, are the main questions for the next few days. M. F.
