Apple does not want to follow the same strategy as Netflix
Apple will launch the Apple TV Plus streaming service later this year in the fall and will bring to market a new rival to Netflix. However, let it go if you think that Apple intends to follow the same strategy.
Apple's senior vice president of software and Internet services, Eddy Cue, said Apple was not interested in creating as many series as possible, but rather "creating the best." While Netflix bets on it gets to market several series and movies at once, Apple does so know that it intends to launch in smaller quantity but potentially in higher quality.
"We try to be the best and we do not have to be the first to be the best," said Cue. In addition to Netflix, Apple will also have to worry about another streaming service that is also launched at the same time, namely Disney + which at launch will have much more exclusive contente. Miguel Dias
