European safety regulator assigns maximum grade to Tesla Model 3
Euro NCAP awarded a top five-star rating to the Tesla Model 3. In addition to the test report, Euro NCAP also shared the test video, which is a great opportunity to see how a Model 3 responds in case of an accident.
The evaluation of the Euro NCAP results from the analysis of four areas, namely how the car protects the adult occupants, how it protects the occupants who are children, the users of the most vulnerable roads (such as pedestrians) and even the safety assistance in the vehicle.
The area where the Tesla Model 3 had the worst rating was in how the vehicle protects the most vulnerable road users. Not satisfied with the 74% it received, it is only natural that Tesla is looking at ways to 'strengthen' its vehicles and it should be in that sense that the newly developed automatic emergency braking system has been developed.
