Return to the past. Commodore, the computer of the 80's, will come back
It is a trend that has come to stay in the gaming industry. In recent years have been released modern versions of legendary consoles. Taking advantage of the fact that the retro is in fashion, the manufacturer Retro Games announced this week that it will launch an updated version of a computer that had raged in the 80's. This is the Commodore 64.
At that time, the C64, as it was known, offered its users very basic functions and the possibility to enjoy games with primitive graphics. The C64's memory was only 64 kilobytes ... the same size as a long email these days. 17 million C64 computers have been sold.
Retro Games announced the new version of this iconic computer in style, with a teaser to the sound of the generic of the series of Netflix, 'Stranger Things'.
Named THEC64, this new version does not want to update everything. And as such, the keyboard retains the retro look, the joystick the classic style and could not miss a selection of games that gave that talk in the 80's. These are the cases of 'Speedball' or 'Cyberdyne Warrior'.
The computer will be released in December and will cost $ 199.99 (about 176 euros).
