Instantly Translate Pages In New Edge Update For iOS
As we all know, Microsoft is working on a new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser which will replace the current Microsoft Edge. However, Microsoft has made it clear through multiple updates that it is not abandoning the current Microsoft Edge browser for the time being.
iOS Update
Yesterday, Microsoft released an exciting new update for iOS Edge users. The update was first spotted and reported by mspoweruser. Version 42.11.4 comes with some interesting new features. The update adds an instant translation feature into the browser. It allows you to translate web pages that are in a foreign language. The feature is very much like Google Chrome's instant translate feature. However, the translation on Edge is powered by the much less popular Microsoft Translate. Unfortunately, even after Edge's switch to Chromium.
Microsoft also added a new security feature into the iOS Edge browser. The update allows users accessing the app to a company account or an educational institution to have secure access to private intranet networks. This allows for more secure and private browsing. These users will also be able to view web pages on their PC timeline. Microsoft also addressed and fixed some much-needed bug fixes and added 'various' improvements.
You can download the new app for the App Store right now. Unfortunately, the update is only available for iOS users at the moment. However, it's only a matter of time before the update also hits the Android version of the app. Murtaza Islam
