APPLE
Brand also plans folding smartphone
Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy Fold, the brand's first foldable screen smartphone that threatens to create a whole new product category. However, let's face it, if you think the South Korean technology is the only one on the market that will launch such a device.
As The Verge says, in October last year Apple submitted for approval a patent detailing plans for a foldable smartphone. Following the patent we find technical drawings that show the design that can be adopted in the final version.
The patent describes a foldable smartphone with a hinge in the middle and capable of folding in half and even in three, and the screen in question could be used in more gadgets than smartphones. "It would be desirable to be able to use flexible display technology to provide improved electronic devices," can be seen in the patente. Miguel Dias
