Dark mode is on the way to Messenger
Facebook is apparently about to launch a dark mode into its messaging application, replacing the white background with a black one.
Who says it is Jane Wong on her Twitter page, ensuring that the new mode is already available in some territories, but it is unknown which regions were elected. If you are one of those who have access to this mode, you can find it in the 'Me' area between 'Notifications and Sounds' and 'Data Saver'.
At the moment it is not known when Facebook intends to officially launch the dark mode in Messenger, predicting that the testing phase is about to end taking into account that is already available in some regions.
While the beginning may seem to be a matter of preference for each user, the dark mode option has more to tell you than it initially seems. The mode has been adopted by several apps and platforms in the recent past (Android Messages, YouTube, among others) to present a visual that is not so aggressive to the eyes.
If it ever made you feel confused looking at your smartphone screen when you wake up, this dark mode is likely to be helpful. Miguel Dias
