CES 2019: Kodak quer espalhar nostalgia com novas câmaras de fotografias instantâneas
CES 2019: Brand wants to spread nostalgia with new instant photos Vinyl has returned to fashion and instant photography is also back in the "industry" of nostalgia. In addition to the classic Polaroid and Instax, which recovered the instantaneous spirit of the 1970s and 1980s, Kodak also unveiled at CES its two new fast print cameras.
Kodak Smile Instant Print aims to merge 10 MP digital camera technology with instant printing. This model is intended to honor the chambers of the 1990s, featuring a vintage design with a matte black body contrasting with its yellow flash.
The camera has a small LCD screen, where you can check the pictures before giving print order. And you can even save photos in digital format, as these are archived on the microSD card supported by the device.
There is a second camera, the Smile Classic Instant Print, which has an even older design, inspired by the old Polaroid, with a strobe flash, a microSD card reader and a 10-second timer. The camera can be paired with a smartphone, via Bluetooth, which means that you can simply use it as a printer, printing photos captured with your phone. In addition to the cameras, Kodak also offers a portable printer, a device that has been exploited by several manufacturers, such as HP's Sprocket, to print photos through an application installed on iOS and Android smartphones.
Both the Smile Instant Print camera and the digital press will cost about $ 100. Only the classic version will cost a little more, about $ 150. The devices still do not have a set date, sometime during 2019.
