TESLA

Tesla Elon Musk Former Employee Sued Email Exchange martin tripp stolen data sabotage promotionElon Musk demands $167 million of saboteur

The CNCB has advanced with the news that Tesla intends to receive from its former collaborator Martin Tripp a damages compensation in the amount of 167 million dollars, that is, around 146 million euros.
The former employee - who CEO Elon Musk accused of being a saboteur - is currently suing in court for stealing several GB of company data, sharing them with third parties, and even fabricating false statements to reporters. In reaction, Tripp's attorney, Robert D. Mitchell, says the value Tesla is asking his client for is "absurd."
The lawyer says that the value claimed by Tesla relates to the declines in Tesla's stock values, which are allegedly related to Tripp's revelations to the press. These reports concerned alleged false information from Tesla to investors as well as photographs of the assembly line of cars at the company's factory that apparently had security problems.
Shortly after Tesla sued ex-employee Marty Tripp over stolen data and sabotage, the alleged "saboteur" released emails between Elon Musk and himself.
Revealing a heated back-and-forth between the two, the email exchange presents it Tripp who contacted Elon before Tesla's lawsuit was filed. The new information begins to unravel the "whistleblower" story presented by the media, with the Tesla CEO only taking action following Tripp's initial email. Additionally, Tesla is now increasing security measures at its Gigafactory, following reports of an alleged threat made by Tripp despite local police assuring the report was not credible.
