Satya Nadella, the CEO of the year

Following its annual tradition, Comparably, a company specializing in the disclosure of information about salaries and company culture of the major industries in the market, announced on Tuesday (11) the winners of the award for Best CEO in the World.
The results take into account the notes given to the executives by the employees of the companies, and the winner is the one with the best overall average. This year's winner was Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.
According to Jason Nazar, Co-founder and CEO of Comparably, thousands of company employees participated in the vote, and they all gave high marks to the CEO's performance, which is held by employees as someone who shares the good results and deals fairly with the company's problems.
Who also appears in the top three this year, third, is Google CEO Sundar Pichai, which is something even surprising, especially if we remember the recent company and undersigned employee strike so that he did not work for help the Chinese government to spy on its citizens.
Nadella and Pichai appeared on last year's list of Comparably, respectively fifth and thirteenth among the best CEOs. But the big surprise on this year's list was the appearance of Craig Menear, CEO of the Home Depot store network, which did not even appear in the top 50 at last year's awards and finished second this year.
Marc Benioff (CEO of Salesforce), ranked first last year, ranks 9th in 2018, while Brian Halligan (CEO of HubSpot) fell from second to 5th and Brad Smith (CEO of Intuit) went from third to 4th overall. The list of all 50 top CEOs this year can be accessed on the Comparably blog.
