Inteligência Artificial já está a resolver problemas da Administração Pública mas Governo quer mais
Artificial Intelligence is already solving Public Administration problems
Earlier this year the government announced the provision of 10 million euros to finance projects that could solve some of the main problems of Public Administration through the use of Artificial Intelligence, and today the Minister of the Presidency announced the launch of two new competitions, one for and more for more experimental projects.
"We already have 19 AI projects funded in the field and we are going to open two new competitions," said Minister of Presidency and Administrative Modernization, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques during her speech at the InCoDe2030 conference in Lisbon today.
Health was the "most benefited area" in this first round of Artificial Intelligence projects, which for the minister means that we will have better services, greater anticipation in disease prevention, but also the areas of mobility, employment and transportation were in focus these initiatives.
"I've never seen a partnership that went so well. The scientific community mobilized for what was detected as a failure in Public Administration in terms of needs, problems, "said Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, explaining that on the part of the public administration machine there is also an effort to absorb knowledge and make clear the difficulties.
The minister now appeals to the entire community to take part in the new competitions. Sapo
