Microsoft announces real-time translation and subtitles in Skype and PowerPoint

Starting this Monday, it will be possible to start using the captioning functionality in real time on Skype in the same language, with support for translation into twenty different languages ​​in the coming weeks. Once the option is activated, the text will appear and disappear continuously on the screen and, although not yet available, have promised to implement in the future the possibility of consulting the entire text translated during the conversation. In the case of PowerPoint, it will be necessary to wait until the beginning of 2019 to see activated some features that will allow the person who is making a presentation to incorporate text in the same as it is exposed. Initially the program will recognize more than ten languages and can simultaneously translate into more than 60 languages.
