'Diablo' is on the way to smartphones ... and not everyone is happy

Contrary to fans' expectations, Blizzard has announced that the 'Diablo' series is on its way to Android and iOS mobile devices with 'Immortal Diablo'. The game was announced during the opening conference of BlizzCon, entitled to a cinematic trailer and gameplay (above). The game will feature six playable classes - Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Wizard, Crusader and Necromancer - and will focus on the same exploration of dungeons, combat with demons and combination of skills that have made the series one of the best known of its kind. The idea with 'Immortal Diablo' will be to update the game frequently with new characters and narratives. At the moment the game is not yet in the expected release date but it is already possible to pre-register in the virtual stores.

Despite the enthusiasm with which Blizzard unveiled 'Diablo Immortal', Polygon notes that the fans did not react the best. Aside from waiting for the big advertisement related to the series to be 'Diablo 4', the fact that 'Diablo Immortal' is for mobile also does not help since most fans prefer the PC as a platform. As a small sample of the reaction the ad unleashed, the gameplay trailer has 8.1 thousand 'do not like' and only 541 'taste' on YouTube. The cinematic trailer had a fairly close reaction, with 40,000 'no taste' and 796 'taste'.
