'The House of Paper' wins International EmmyThe Spanish "La Casa de Papel" beat the Brazilian "1 Contra Todos" and won the International Emmy Award for best drama series. The winning production, which is part of the Netflix grid, tells the story of a group that decides to steal the mint from Spain.
In all, Brazil competed in six categories: the arts program (for "Series Words" by GNT), actor (Julio Andrade for "1 Contra Todos" by Fox), actress (Denise Weinberg for "Psi" , HBO), miniseries or telefilm ("Aldo - Stronger than the World", Globo), documentary ("That's Me" by GNT) and drama series ("1 Against All").
The country, however, did not take any awards for the second consecutive year. The last time had been in 2016, when "Secret Truths" won as best soap opera.
