Announced Winter Royale, the Fortnite tournament with $ 1 million in prize money

Epic Games has given all the details about its next big tournament, Winter Royale, during the day today. The most important thing for all players is that it is the first open championship and will not require an invitation, unlike the Skirmish events we have been seeing in recent weeks.The first phase of the tournament, qualifying, will begin on November 24 and the finals will be held in two different territories and dates: on November 30 and December 1 will take place in Europe while December 11 and 12 will be the North America.Those players who compete in the qualifiers that start in just a few days and end with good results will be invited to compete in the different finals of the tournament. The study has confirmed that while this first edition is limited to European and North American territories, Fortnite will have similar cut-off tournaments in other regions in the future.All those who want to participate will have to select the tournament from the tab "Events" (from Epic urge to be attentive to that section to know the final dates) and play games in the given time period; the video game will take into account the best result, posting position and losses, facing the classification for the finals.This Winter Royale is the first test of the online tournament system that will be used next year to select the participants of the Fortnite World Championship.
