Teletransporte por fibra óptica a 6 km de distância
Teleportation by fiber optic within 6 km distance

You still can not travel from one place to another instantaneously, but quantum teleportation has become practical for some time now, being one of the great promises for safe quantum cryptography operations. In teleportation, the data contained in one particle is transmitted remotely to another particle instantly, thanks to the phenomenon of interlacing, in which two particles are "connected" in a way that anything that happens to one will immediately change the other. But this form of teleportation had only been demonstrated over very short laboratory distances, which included a teleportation room the size of a chip.

Fiber Optic Teleportation
Now Meiru Huo and his colleagues at Shanxi University in China have used a common optical fiber to carry the teleportation of continuously variable photons from a laser at a distance of 6 kilometers. The information was replicated at the receiving site with a greater precision than would be possible using classical physics. This means that quantum teleportation now becomes yet another tool in the practical arsenal of physicists and engineers working to make quantum computing and quantum cryptography practical - and nothing more practical than doing this using the already installed fiber optic networks , as demonstrated recently in a test conducted in Spain.
