Simplicity is the slogan of the new MessengerIf the confusing organization of Messenger is one of the reasons it keeps you away from the Facebook messaging app, then the design coming in from today through an update is able to convince you.As you can see in the screenshot above, the new Messenger will have only three tabs: one dedicated to Conversations, the other to People and the last to Discoveries. While the first one will have all the conversations you keep with your contacts, the second will show you who is online and will give more prominence to the ephemeral Stories publications. The third and final tab will mainly aim to keep users in touch with companies and offer users the ability to start playing games with friends. In addition to simplicity, customization also seems to be a big part of this new Messenger. As Engadget notes, the user will have the option to customize the conversations by changing the colors of the text 'bubbles' and changing the tonality of the backgrounds. It's also promised a dark theme, which will make Messenger a more enjoyable app for the night time. The update is planned for both iOS and Android and should be released gradually in the various versions of the operating systems of smartphone manufacturers.
