Internet das Coisas - O que é? Aonde vive? Como se alimenta...!? | BecodeWe went to Spain know the way to a future connected

The Internet of Things has been one of the most interesting areas to look at in recent years, resulting in a series of internet-connected home devices designed to improve the day-to-day lives of users in their homes. The company SPC does not want to be left out and continues to work on products with which it intends to "revolutionize the world of Internet of Things".This was the starting point of the general director of SPC Spain, Jose San Emeterio, who at the presentation of the new range of products of the brand in Madrid, Spain, made a point of explaining the direction that the company intends to follow. "Intenret of Things has tremendous potential to change the way we connect to everything and everyone," said the leader of the Spanish division.Even though Internet of Things are widely publicized and demonstrated, the truth is that this is an area that has been avoided by consumers. The SPC believes that it knows what is behind this conservative stance, pointing to the idea that most consider these products are aimed at the luxury market; that are unsafe and used by people who are not well intentioned to steal data; and that they become too complex to use since each will be used differently. But how does the SPC want to be a change agent and change the way the Internet of Things is seen? For the company the solution is in connecting the devices to each other and give the user global control through a new app, SPC IoT. The goal of creating the app was to provide the user with a "multiplatform solution compatible with Android, iOS, Alexa and Google Assistant."SPC's new products, focused on lighting, energy, safety and comfort, can all be connected together and activated / deactivated independently or together. It all depends on how you make use of the app and the kind of dynamics of your life.

During the event, a SPC representative demonstrated how SPC's new products - ranging from vacuum cleaners, color lights, plugs and even 360-degree surveillance cameras - work together. Using the app, it has been shown that it is possible to program various device actions. Temperature too high? The fan connected to the SPC outlet will now be activated to cool the room. You can even ask Google Assistant through the Home Home column to enable / disable the devices via voice.
The SPC IoT app is already available in the virtual stores while the new products will reach the Portuguese market over the coming months and until the end of the year.
