The company Naked Labs has launched a system that allows the user to make a 3D image of his body, allowing a more accurate tracking of health and various physical conditions that do not focus exclusively on the weight of users. Named Naked, the system consists of an intelligent mirror, a rotating scale and a smartphone application.The mirror is equipped with three cameras with visual recognition technology that make a millimeter analysis of the person's body and also has a laser that indicates where the scale should be placed. After climbing onto the scale and following the indications of the app, the platform will start spinning to start the "scanning" process. At the end, the user will have a faithful reproduction of his body and information such as weight, arms and legs as well as body mass index.

As for the information gathered, the company guarantees that it is "just for your eyes", arguing that democratization of information achieved through 3D scans will allow individuals to take greater control over their "own body history."

The Naked system costs $ 1,400, but the technology hopes to reduce the value of the equipment so that more people can have access to the technology.
In addition to the product launch, Naked Labs also announced an investment round worth $ 14 million. The goal is to expand the product beyond the health market, for example, to order custom clothing online.
