LG reforça aposta no segmento da robótica com nova parceria
Brand strengthens bet on robotics segment with new partnership

LG Electronics Inc. has invested $ 3 million in Bossa Nova Robotics, based in the United States, in what is the company's first investment in a foreign partner in the robotics segment.
Following the partnerships established with South Korea's Acryl, SG ROBOTICS, Robotis and Robostar, the technology giant wants to strengthen its competitiveness in the robot industry in what has been singled out as one of LG's main growth engines.
Bossa Nova Robotics creates solutions that enable automation in the collection and analysis of real-time data of products on the shelves that enable more efficient management of large retail stores.
"Robotics is a key element of our ThinQ Artificial Intelligence strategy and is essential to LG's future development," said Kim Sungwook, vice president of global open innovation at LG Electronics.

It is recalled that, as part of preparations for the winter Olympics in South Korea, LG began testing its robots, Guide Robot and Cleaning Robot, in the largest airport in the country.
At CES this year, the technology introduced the three new CLOi family robots, Server, Porter and Shopping Cart, developed specifically for commercial use in high-traffic places such as hotels and supermarkets.
LG's CLOi robots are being developed in parallel with ThinQ products, the IA brand of technology designed to be used in smart home appliances.
