Instagram will allow video calls for up to four people simultaneously

Currently, you can make video call using Facebook, WhatsApp, Duo, among other programs. The newest app to join the videoconference is Instagram, which released the feature on Tuesday (26) for iOS and Android. The new feature is in Direct, the Instagram area where you can exchange messages with other users on the network. There, a video icon appears. Just tap and start the video call. The interesting thing is that even during videoconferencing, the user can send messages and photos via Direct or even browse the feed.Basically, it will be possible to start a video call for anyone with whom you have already had a conversation via Direct. Even if you do not want to have contact with the person, you can block them.Along with the announcement, Instagram also revealed a more organized exploration flap. By touching the magnifying glass icon, the user can view custom posts and divisions, such as art, sports, travel and animals. If you do not like some of these groupings of posts, simply activate the "Mute" option.

Another novelty of the app is that the Stories function has gained new custom camera effects. If you, for example, follow the NBA page by clicking on the face icon on the lower right side, you will receive an effect that can be buried in a car in the American basketball league. These custom filters will be activated for those who follow the profile of Buzzfeed and singer Ariana Grande, for example.
It's amazing how it looks like Facebook has invested a lot of chips on Instagram. Almost every month the social network gets some kind of resource or new capabilities. Just this month, we already had IGTV and the company has also allowed us to make purchases in the Stories. In a recent article, Bloomberg estimated that Instagram was Facebook's most worthwhile acquisition. The app was purchased for $ 1 billion. Now, according to the US publication, the network has a market value that exceeds $ 100 billion.
