Tesla Model 3 bate recorde e chega aos 975km numa única carga
Tesla Model 3 breaks record and reaches 975km in a single load

A pair of Americans managed to beat a record of autonomy for the Tesla Model 3 when traveling 975 kilometers in a single load. For this it was necessary to drive uninterruptedly for 32 hours, stopping only occasionally to go to the bathroom.
In order to be able to travel as far as possible, the pair had a speed between 30 and 50km / h, conserved energy by putting aside the use of air conditioning and (as much as possible) the car's brakes. Although they were not able to reach a new record for the Model 3, the team failed to surpass the Model S record of 1,078 km.
The feat, however, was not without its problems. The pair found that after the challenge Model 3 was unable to recharge and, as The Verge notes, so far the problem seems not yet resolved.

Final hypermile numbers from @teslainventory and I: 606.2 miles (975 km), 66 kWh, and 110 wh/mi, and 32 hours of driving. At its peak it was 108F in the cabin with no a/c running. Thank you @Tesla and @elonmusk for making such an incredible piece of machinery!

Update on hypermile Model 3 charging: Tesla has been investigating today - good communication. No resolution yet. Will add that I’ve run out of battery in my S three times and have never had issue with charging once at charger. Model 3 behavior that night was very unusual.
