It has been able to access almost all functions of the smartphone, affecting different applications like WhatsApp, Telegram and others, giving access to passwords, videos, photos and other personal information.Kaspersky reports that there are four generations of ZooPark, the first of which was spyware that allowed users to access contact information addresses and user accounts until the most recent, launched in 2017, a sophisticated malware capable of monitoring with devices. It has been able to access search history on search engines, photos and videos stored on memory cards, phone call records, and even security information from different applications.

Kaspersky reports that the information was extracted through silent calls, text messages or even special commands, without users noticing the movements. To access the devices, the victims were targeted at sites that had previously been infected with malicious files, looking for topics such as "Kurdistan referendum" or "Telegram groups", among others. The computer security company reports that malware victims were in Egypt, Morocco, Iran, Jordan and Lebanon.
