Samsung debuts Bixby 2.0 with next Galaxy
Note 9
Samsung joined the battle of virtual assistants in April 2017 with the launch of the Galaxy S8. The smartphone was the first device of the South Korean brand to integrate artificial intelligence and the company concentrated much of the official announcement of the smartphone in the capabilities of this system, which could even be evoked through a physical button that still remains intact in this line of mobile phones . The feedback provided by the critics, however, did not meet the expectations of the technology giant, which is now preparing to debut a new version of Bixby.According to Gray G. Lee, head of Samsung's artificial intelligence department, the company will launch the 2.0 edition of this wizard already in the second half of the year, aboard the new Note 9. Lee promised an improved natural language, faster responses and better results in noisy environments.Samsung has been increasing the range of coverage of its artificial intelligence to other market segments, so it will be in its best interest to increase the popularity of this system in one of the markets (smart columns, refrigerators) where competition is more intense: smartphones.
