Brand debut headphones with "air conditioning" system
HP announced this week the launch of an innovative accessory. At a video game festival in Beijing, the company introduced a new pair of headphones that uses thermoelectric technology to refresh the user's head.Gamers who play more intense sessions know how hot and uncomfortable the headphones can be. The new US brand proposal aims to suppress this problem in a discreet and convenient way, without resorting to noisy fans or liquid solutions, which are common in this sector. The equipment, also known as Mindframe, will be part of the Omen range, the company's gaming line.To reproduce a refreshing effect, the headphones incorporate a small thermoelectric device to drive the heat from the acoustic chamber to the outside. According to Devindra Hadawar, an Engadget journalist who has had the opportunity to try this device, the feeling, when holding the device, is that there is a small "air conditioning compressed against the palm of the hand."In addition to its cooling capabilities, the Mindframe also has an automatic tuning suspension, which helps disperse the headphone weight; a microphone with noise suppression; a three-dimensional sound system; and 7.1 surround virtual technology.HP has not revealed the final price of this accessory, but confirmed that it will be available in the market in the second half of 2018.
