New HTC top-of-the-range with launch in May?

An advanced rumor by Focus Taiwan site points to the launch of the HTC U12 Plus for next May, with the second quarter launch due to the Taiwan manufacturer's desire to avoid competing with Galaxy S9 and Samsung and Xperia XZ2 from Sony.
Judging by this strategy, it is expected that HTC will be able to gather more significant sales with its new top of the range. The fact that the U12 Plus features top-of-the-line specs should also help with the Snapdragon 845, the 6GB of RAM, the 64GB of internal storage and the 3,420mAh of battery as a warranty.
Along with these rumors have also appeared on the site SlashLeaks some images that seem to show the final version of the HTC U12 Plus. Although they may not match completely, they give you an idea of what to expect from the next model of the manufacturer.
