Discover 150 apps with malware in the Play Store for Windows
Google's online store security measures are still not enough to prevent malicious software from being distributed on its platform.
150 applications have now been discovered on the Google Play Store with the Ramnit botnet, a malware that steals user login data.
This malicious software aimed at Windows operating systems, which last year infected more than 45,000 Facebook users, is used to distribute links to malicious sites on social network accounts that are affected.
The malware was detected by security company Zscaler, which published the full list of infected applications here:
Google has already removed the applications from its platform.
